Ashley, good job on podcast #4. You did a great job of covering everything for your topic and it sounds very interesting. The only thing I really saw off about your podcast was the lighting could have been a little better. At some points it was a little dark and hard to see you, but other than that it was great.

Nice job on podcast #4. Your scene changes were very good, and so were all of the pictures that you added. I really enjoyed the content of your podcast and think that its a very interesting topic. Some parts of the podcast were a little dark, but other than that your audio and everything else was good.
Once again, nice job!

The intro music and your slides are well done. This is an excellent historical and educational tool to discuss the history of The Writers’ Guild of America. Your script is well written and presented. I liked the slides showing images of previous and most recent strikes; that gives the viewer a reference point to those time periods. Some music transitions throughout the podcast would have added interest.

You did a good job on this pod cast. You provided us with a lot of good information of your final project. I liked the fact that you changed locations in your apartment, or where ever you filmed. Your pictures and power point slides were a nice addition as well. I was extremely impressed how well the pictures and slides matched up with your voice-overs. I know from experience that is not an easy feat. I happen to like the songs with words you have chosen, but that's just me. You have done a great job on your podcasts this semester and I have enjoyed watching them.

Ashley--

Interesting topic. I wished that I had kept up more with the writers' strike while it was happening. Your podcast certainly filled in the gaps I had about the 2007-2008 strike and also provided me with the history and context of the strike. I liked your scene changes and the black and white pictures you used. Some of the slides that contained summary information/speaking points during your podcast were a little bit small, or I should say, the font was. Otherwise, I thought your podcast was well done. I hope you are able to get the interviews you want for your final project. Good luck!

Ashley, good job on your fourth podcast. I liked how you moved around you apartment for scenery changes. I think the lighting could have been a little brighter, but it wasn't terrible. The Tom Petty wasn't too bad either, everyone seems to love "Last dance with Mary Jane". Good luck with your final video project.

Scott.

Ashley,
I really like your topic of the writers strike for this project. I learned a lot, didn't know much about the history and only kept up with the strike so-so during.

The podcast was good, I agree with the other comments the lighting was a little dark, but filming inside at night is tough. (We went through multiple set-ups at my place)

Good luck with your final project- I am sure it will be great.

Ashley,
Nice job on your fourth podcast.
I am really interested in your topic. I honestly did not know that much about the writers’ guild until the most recent strike. And even then, I only knew what little I read in news articles related to the strike. That being said, the information in this podcast alone shows that you really know a lot about this and I imagine your final video will be excellent and full of much usable information about this topic.

As others have mentioned the podcast was a little dark. Also, some of your slides had small text on them making them harder to read. I do not know if this was something that occurred while iMovie compressed the files or whether they were already small in the first place.

Overall, good job, nice choice of music, and I really look forward to seeing your final video and learning even more about the writer’s guild and the strikes.

Ashley,

It was really good for me to watch your podcast because I was wonder how writers strike goes and the backgroud of the strike. I was not familiar with WGA but now I get information that I was looking for.

The entry music and slide was really good. One suggestion is that lighting seems little bit dark. Besides that, you did great job on your final podcast!

Ashley, that was a good podcast. It was a little dark, but that may have my computer screen. I liked that you didn't film everything in the same place and that you moved around. You had lots of information and it was easy to follow. Great job!

Hi Ashley, I really liked how you used 'Last Dance..' as the song for the final podcast.Very apt! I have enjoyed your previous podcasts as they explained a previously fringe topic to me in great depth. I'm sure this information will help me when I go back to working in the advertising business as we deal with writers of all kinds. I liked the location changes you did which added a nice variety. Your use of b-roll was well-timed and the pictures you used were cool. I liked the template you used in the beginning as well. I think you did a great job, and it has been fun watching all your podcasts. Great job!

Ashley,
I like your topic! I think it is super timely considering that the prime time shows are just now starting to air new episodes. I think your lighting could have been just a little bit better. You maybe could have zoomed in a little bit and it would have automatically brightened the scene. I liked your pictures that you used. I think you should maybe put less information on each slide, it got a little hard to read everything. Overall you did a great job!
